Who We Are
The Burma (Myanmar) Philatelic Study Circle (B(M)PSC) is a UK-based organisation with an international membership devoted to every aspect of Burma/Myanmar philately—stamps, postal history, postal stationery, and related ephemera.
Founded in 2005, B(M)PSC grew from the UK Chapter of the earlier Burma Philatelic Study Circle (1979–2000), publisher of The Burma Peacock under the accomplished editorship of Alan Meech in Canada. Building on that legacy, our quarterly journal, The Burma Fantail—the successor to The Peacock—is produced in full colour and distributed either as a printed, stapled edition or as a colour PDF.
Beyond publications, we foster a friendly, research-minded community. Members meet twice a year via Zoom to share displays, exchange knowledge, and discuss new discoveries; these cordial sessions consistently offer original insights and worthwhile collecting perspectives.
Whether you are a new collector or a specialist researcher, B(M)PSC provides a welcoming forum, a high-quality journal, and opportunities to connect with enthusiasts worldwide who share a passion for Burma/Myanmar philately.
